About Us

We are a Christ centered shelter that provides meals and a warm, safe place to sleep.  We focus on building relationships with our Guests and we believe trust is the most important motive for establishing these relationships.

Below is an outline of a “Typical” day when the shelter is open.

5:30 pm: Shelter Coordinators arrive at the shelter.

5:45 pm: Kitchen Team and Evening Visitors arrive at the shelter.

6:00 pm – 8:00 pm: Doors of the shelter are opened to outside Guests.

6:30 pm – 7:30 pm: Dinner is served.

8:00 pm: Doors of the shelter are closed to outside Guests.

8:00 pm – 8:30 pm:  Family Gathering time.

9:45 pm: Overnight Awake & Sleeper Volunteers arrive at the shelter.

10:00 pm: Bedtime for the Guests.  Lights out!

6:30 am: – Wake up the Guests.

6:00 am: – Overnight Sleepers wake up and set up continental breakfast.

6:15 am: – Continental Breakfast is served.

6:45 am: – Supervised Smoke Break

7:15 am: – Kitchen closes, take down the continental breakfast.

8:00 am: – Shelter closes, Guests leave.
