We are a Christ centered shelter that provides meals and a warm, safe place to sleep and we focus on building Christ loving relationships with our Guests. We believe that trust is the most important motive for establishing these relationships.
Below is an outline of a “Typical” day when the shelter is open.
5:30 pm: Shelter Coordinator, Dinner Hosts and Team Leader arrive at the shelter.
5:45 pm: Evening Visitors arrive.
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm: Doors of the shelter are opened to outside Guests.
6:30 pm – 7:30 pm: Dinner is served.
7:45 pm: Overnight Volunteers arrive.
8:00 pm: Doors of the shelter are closed to outside Guests.
8:00 pm – 8:30 pm: Family Gathering time.
10:30 pm: Bedtime for the guests. Lights out!
6:30 am – Wake the Guests.
6:30 am – Breakfast Hosts arrive.
7:00 am – Kitchen is open, serve breakfast to the Guests.
7:30 am – Kitchen closes.
8:00 am – Shelter closes, Guests leave.
